2018 WCQ: Ghana Leads By 1-0 Scoreline At Halftime In Kumasi
The Black Stars of Ghana took a lone goal lead by the close of the first half of the second leg game of the 2018 World Cup Qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi against Comoro Island.
Mubarak Wakaso, ccurled in a free kick in the 19th minute zoomed straight into the net without a response from the in the opponents goalkeeper.
Ghana failed to break through the defence of the visitors after the goal as the efforst by Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Wakaso were thwarted by the opponents.
Ghana however was forced to change Jonathan Mensah for Daniel Amartey after an injury, whilst Solomon Asante was also substituted by Jeffery Schlupp with Agyemang Badu gettng on the caution sheet.
