Ahead of Sunday’s impartation match between the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup winners of Hearts of Oak and the present team, there was a training session on Friday afternoon at the Clubs former training grounds known as the Hearts park.
In attendance were some former players like Joe Ansah, Yaw Amakwaah Mireku, Sammy Adjei, Charles Taylor, Bernard Dong Bortey, Gedo Mohammed, Frank Turkson, Acquah Harrison, Wisdom Abbey, Jacob Nettey, Michael Donkor, Kwame Antwi among others.
The fans came in their numbers to cheer their former heroes. Former Board and Management member of the Club Alhaji Hearts was also there to witness the players train ahead of Sunday’s match against the present Hearts of Oak team.
The match according to the organizers is to impart some for of awareness and positive vibe to the new players most of who have not seen these gallant former player before.
The match will be played on Sunday January 31st at the Accra sports stadium. Kick off is 4:00pm.
