Greater Accra Regional Association chairman Eddie Doku is a surprise name that will be included in the Ghana FA’s five-member Emergency Committee which is expected to be named TODAY, Sportscrusader.com is reliably informed.
The smaller body will be empowered to run the day-to-day affairs of the Ghanaian federation in between meetings of the larger Executive Committee.
President of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi will chair the Emergency Committee with the likes of George Afriyie, Kweku Eyiah and Nab Eyison as members.
The membership of the Emergency Committee will be confirmed at the first meeting of the new Executive Committee on Thursday.
It is at this meeting that the Vice President of the Ghana FA will be appointed with the likes of George Afriyie and Nab Eyison tipped as favourites.
