TP Mazembe Begin Travel Arrangements To Accra For Governance Cup


2015 CAF Champions League Champions, Tout Puissant Mazembe have began their journey to Accra for the Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s Governance Cup.


The team, known for travelling on their 140-seater McDonnell Douglas MD-80, which includes a 16-seat VIP Lounge, will travel via Kenya Airways, sportscrusader can exclusively reveal. The team, which will be accompanied by its owner, Moïse Katumbi Chapwe, business tycoon and governor of the mineral-rich Katanga Province (Southeastern DR Congo) as well as several other high-ranking officials of the club, will travel to Nairobi, Kenya on Thursday, November 19, make a sleepover in Nairobi and leave for Accra on Friday.



Sportscrusader can further disclose that, the team will be met on arrival by a delegation consisting officials from the office of the President, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mo Ibrahim Foundation and Primeval Media.


They will play against a local select-side at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 4pm.



The 2015 Governance Cup is being organized under the auspices of the Office of the President, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.
