Jordan Ayew"s Villa Nightmare compounded by Manchester City

Manchester City compounded the woes of Aston Villa and Jordan Ayew with a heavy 0-4 thumping in the FA cup.

The Citizens eased past their toothless and sinking London based side in the FA fourth round matches played on Saturday.

A treble from Manchester City’s Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho added to Raheem Sterling beauty in a one sided game for Manuel Pellegrini’s much fancied side.

Black Stars attacker Jordan Ayew lasted the entire duration of the tie but was powerless to prevent their Manchester based opponents from progressing to the next stage of the world’s oldest club competition.

Ayew showed signs of his gulf in class but was overshadowed a much stronger Mancity side at almost full strength for the cup clash.

Aston Villa were on some kind of renaissance having lost just 2 of the last 7 fixtures in all competitions.

Kelechi Iheanacho bagged his first ever professional treble in a space of 70 minutes before former Liverpool wing wizard Raheem Sterling added glamour to the score line.

Jordan Ayew has since registered 5 goals in his 24 combined appearances for Remy Garden’s since his arrival from Loreint in the summer.
