Michel Platini’s FIFA Presidential bid hits snag as his appeal is rejected

[ad_1]

Michel Platini’s bid to become FIFA President has taken another hit after his appeal over a 90-day ban was rejected.

The French was suspended alongside the man he hopes to succeed, Sepp Blatter for alleged wrongdoings.

Blatter made a €2m payment to Platini over services they purport the Frenchman offered the Swiss over a nine-year period even though there is no contract to back this as they claim it was verbal.

Platini is one of seven candidates vying for the FIFA Presidency but his candidature for the February Presidential race has been frozen until he is cleared of all wrongdoing.
