GHALCA Vice President Isaac Koomson says he is thrilled by the growing interest in their G6 tournament following the declaration of prostitutes to take full advantage of the competition in Sekondi.
Prostitutes in Sekondi have targeted the inaugural invitational tournament to boost their business with the expected increase in the footballing population for the three-day event.
Football always has the ability to positively affect businesses including vices like prostitution.
Practitioners have identified this feature and look to exploit it to the fullest.
Vice chairman of the organizing body of the G6 tournament, GHALCA says everyone including the prostitutes are welcomed to patronize the games and also do business.
“We are concentrating on our football but we welcome everybody,” Isaac Koomson told Kasapa FM.
“We want to encourage even more people to patronize our games and if they want business on the side, then that is fine.
“We welcome everybody to come and watch the games.”
The G6 competition which includes Hearts of Oak, AshantiGold, Aduana Stars, Medeama, Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko kicks off on Thursday in Sekondi.
