Multiple award-winning Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale will be performing at this year’s Glo CAF African Player of the Year awards gala in Abuja.
The dance hall sensation has been named amongst some of the best musical icons on the continent to thrill a prestigious audience at the event scheduled to take place on January 7.
This will be the first time Shatta Wale, formerly known with the stage name Bandana will be performance at the prestigious event which will be crowning the best player on the continent.
Other performer lined up for the awards gala include the legendary Salif Keita, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Awilo Longomba and Wizkid.
This year’s Glo CAF awards sees Ghana forward Andre Ayew compete against Yaya Toure and Pierre Emerick Aubamayeng for the top prize of the night.
Black Queens striker Portia Boakye is also gunning for the African Women’s Player of the Year award.
