“It Will Be Great To Score Against Ghana”- Comoros Striker Changama

Comoros striker Mohamed “Momo” M’Changama is relishing a good day against the Black Stars come tomorrow in their 2018 World Cup qualifier at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in Moroni.

M’Changama whose 71st minute strike in Maseru was enough to earn the tiny island nation qualification over favourites Lesotho to set a date against Ghana, has expressed the hope of grabbing a goal against Ghana come tomorrow afternoon.

The striker who has been credited with helping his country to move from the 193rd position to 177th position on the latest FIFA Coca-Cola World Rankings following that goal against Lesotho told our report in the Capital of Comoros that it would be a great feeling to score against Ghana.

The France-born Comorian football star who currently plays for French Ligue 2 side Amiens believes they are nowhere near the Ghana side in terms of play and stature but the uncertainty that surrounds the game of football make the tie a very tricky one.

“Ghana is a great soccer nation, and playing against the Black Stars would not come easy but we are a determined side and would do our best against them tomorrow”, Mohamed “Momo” M’Changama told ghanafootballnews.com on Thursday after the team’s final training session.

“My greatest wish is to score against the Black Stars and I would work hard towards that and for victory for my country.”

The 28-years old striker who made his international debut for his adopted country on 9 October 2010 in a match against Mozambique spoke of his admiration for the Ayew brothers who until recently were plying their trade in France.

“They are great talents with huge potentials of becoming even greater than they are now, coming up against them tomorrow will be a tall order, but we hope to keep our cool and play to our coach’s instruction while hoping for a good result.”
