Ashgold shot stopper Robert Dabuo has expressed his readiness to match the feat set by his Ghanaian colleagues at TP Mazembe in Confedration of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League.

The former Wa All Stars goalie heaped praises on the victorious Ghanaian contingent in DR Congo after their 4-1 aggregate win over USM Alger in the CAF champions league finals.

The Ghana youth international admitted to the herculean nature of the task but charged his colleagues at Ashgold to book a money zone ticket at the very least.

Dabuo believes matching the historic feat of TP Mazembe will be too daunting for any club to equal but thanked his compatriots for opening the way for more Ghanaian players.

He openly expressed his affection for the continental club glory as he enters into the competition in the 2016 edition.
Ashgold won the 2014/15 FCPPL to end their 19 year wait for continental football.

“The strong performance of the Ghanaian players in TP Mazembe will open the way for other local players. I am very happy for them first as Ghanaian players and as my friends.” Robert told sports crusader.
