After arriving safely in Comoros Island for their World Cup qualifier, the Black Stars of Ghana, held their first training session this morning.

All members of the playing body were present for the mid-morning shake up and members of the technical team expressed delight at the preparedness of the team to go all out in tomorrow’s game.

Coach Avram Grant and his assistant Maxwell took the team through some jogging session before the actual field work, an action that saw players battle for places in the various departments of the team.

The goalkeepers were not left out and trainer Nassamu Yakubu took Fatau Dauda, Richard Ofori and Razak Ibrahim through some rigorous yet very insightful training program.

The Stars as usual ended the training session with the famous ‘jama’ session led by the captain of the team, Asamoah Gyan.
