I’m Not Defending FIFA But… Shaik Al Khalifa
FIFA presidential aspirant, Shaik Salman Ibrahim Al Khalifa has made perhaps the most controversial comment of the new year when he visited the executive members of the West Africa football union (WAFU) during the union’s congress held in Accra at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
Shaik Salman who will be hoping his meeting with the executive memebers behind closed doors was or maybe will be a succesful one that will get them (members) voting for him come Februry’s FIFA presidential election.
The Asian federation chief said, “You the media have to get the facts right and clear to the viewers (public). Today you’re judges, you judge people, you write stories but you have to make sure the story you right is correct as well. You say FIFA scandal but I don’t think what happened is withing FIFA, let’s face it. ”
“The 400 plus staff who work within the FIFA organisation has any of them been accused? I’m sorry the answer is no, if the answer is yes then I will like to know,” he added.
