Chief Executive Officer of Atebubu Esperance, Bashiru Tanko has set his sight firmly on top flight football within three years.
The CEO for the Division One side raised the bar for his playing staff as he targets a place in the premier league in the near future.
The ambitious young administrator warned rivals to be wary of his side when the upcoming 2016 domestic football season kicks off.
Atebubu Esperance endured a difficult season in the 2014/15GN Bank Division One league after a promising start to the season but the Club’s CEO dared his staff to right the wrongs when the new season kicks off.
Mr Bashiru Tanko rallied the playing body and the technical team to raise their game and write their names into the history books of the second tier side.
He commended the Division One League Board (DOLB)for the new format given to the league that has taken away the national middle league.
“The premier league is the ultimate of every club’s dream and Atebubu Esperance is not an exception. We are looking at qualifications to the premier league in the next three years as a club.
“The new structure in the Division One league makes it easy to qualify to the top flight with proper organisation. We are targeting premier league by 2018 at the very least”. Tanko told www.sportscrusader.com
On the quality of players and plans ahead if the season, the ambitious Chief of the Atebubu based division one side touted the gulf in class of his charges and the managerial ingenuity of the technical bench.
“The quality of players we have can book us a place in the premier league with support from our trusted coaches. If other clubs are making it to the top flight why not Esperance?
“The entire team is ready to announce ourselves to the Ghanaian football fraternity next season.” The club’s CEO added
Esperance finished the 2014/15 GN Bank DOL with 32 points in a highly controversial but competitive zone A.
