Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom is set to return to Atalanta following the termination of his loan agreement at Roda JC.
The 22-year-old joined the Dutch club at the beginning of the season with the aim of getting his stale club career back on track.
But a fallout with manager Darije Kalezic has seen the former Sassuolo man limited to just nine league appearances.
Boakye thus opted to have his loan agreement terminated for him to return to Italy.
The Ghana international’s club career has been rocky since leaving Sassuolo where he excelled on loan from Genoa.
Moves to Elche in Spain and now Roda JC have eventually proved to be counterproductive.
