English Club Show Gratitude To Black Stars Player
The news has been making waves of Christian Atsu returning to Chelsea from his loan stint with AFC Bournemouth and the south coast team have confirmed officially yesterday.
Christian Atsu returns to Chelsea following a frustrating loan spell with the Cherries. Atsu, who was crowned best player of the AFCON 2013 in South Africa was tipped to break into the Blues first team but was shipped out on loan to the newly promoted premier league side.
The creative Ghanaian midfielder has been battling recurring injuries and that contributed to limited game times under manager, Eddie Howe.
AFC Bournemouth wrote on their official twitter page, ”Everyone at Bournemouth wishes Ghana’s Christian Atsu the best of luck after he was recalled by Chelsea”.
The Ghanaian international made just two appearances for the Cherries in the league cup games against Hartlepool and Preston North End.
Atsu has already returned to Chelsea and has already started training with the first team with the aim of repaying the faith manager, Guus Hiddink has had in recalling him from his loan spell.
