Officials of Accra of Oak have blocked any move by midfielder Ollenu Ashittey to leave the Club, footballcrusader.com can confirm.
The player last week tendered in a contract termination request asking for his contract with the Phobians to be cancelled so a to start life with another Club.
But Management in consultation wit the technical team have decided against allowing the player to leave, and has ben instructed to commence training with his colleagues, an action he started this week.
The player after sending the letter requesting the termination of his contract followed it up by sending a delegation made up of his father, elder brother and manager to the Hearts secretariat to impress upon the Phobians to let him go.
But all that was met by a resolute Hearts of Oak Strategic Committee headed by Vincent Sowah Odotei who are said to have decided against it, thus the player stays with the Club.
On his contract, Ollenu has one more season left to spend with the Phobians.
