Hearts Will Sign Quality Not …
Accra Hearts of Oak having battling attracting quality players to the club. In recent time, the Phobians parted ways with five new signings in the current off season after according inside source the players failed to make the mark.
Hearts have not won the league since 2008 and it looks like the league drought is little of what bothers the Phobians as in-fighting has been a part of their meetings and organisation of the club.
New manager Kenichi Yatshuashi is having a torrid time recruiting the ‘right players’ to help carry his message of returning the glory days to Hearts. The Japanese-American tactician is yet to win over the fans though he won his first match as a coach against a lower division side. He led a recruitment clinic that seem to yield no result after losing 4 – 0 against fellow premier league side, WAFA and back-to-back defeat to Al Ahli of Libya.
Accra Hearts of Oak Board member, Frank Nelson Nwokolo has sent out the strongest warning to perhaps the coach and fans who seem to have their opinion on who should sign for the club when he stated, “We know very well what we have to do and I am very certain that we will sign players before the market closes.”
He added, “there are plans to add some experience to the team and I am very certain that the very quality players will drop in to help out the team.”
Hearts of Oak finished the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier League season on 13th position and will be desperate to improve on their position in the next campaign.
