Sekondi Eleven Wise officially writes to GFA to use Gyandu Park

Sekondi Eleven Wise has officially written to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to allow them return to their favourite Gyandu Park ahead of the 2016 GN Bank Division One League.

The Western region based division one side skipped relegation by a point in a horrendous campaign at the Essippong Sports Stadium. The former premier league side believes a return to their favourite hunting grounds will boost their chances of returning to the top flight in two season’s time.

The management of the traditional Sekondi based second tier side opted out using Essipong as their home gruonds after a torrid time during the 2015 season.

An official letter intercepted by sports crusader confirmed the request for change of venue ahead of the 2016 season.

Sources close to the Western giants hinted at poor patronage of home matches as the need to return to their favourite Gyandu Park for the upcoming season.

Sekondi Eleven Wise suffered an alarming 14 defeats in the second tier league and escaped relegation by a solitary point in Zone II of the GN Bank DOL.

If approved the former premier league side could join Karela FC, who look set to switch camp to Ahinyaase in the Elembele district.
