Torric Jibril cools off Zamalek interest as he targets European Football.

Former Hearts of Oak’s attacking prodigy Torric Jibril has cooled off Zamalek interest with his eyes firmly fixed on a return to European football.

The Ismaily forward has been an instant hit for the Egyptian giants and despite the appointment of his former coach as the new Zamalek head coach prefers to get back to Europe.

The trickery Ghanaian stormed out of the blocks in his days at Accra Hearts before joining the player exodus bus.

The former Pompey attacker was rescued from his Turkish nightmare by Ahmed Mido who brought him to Ismaily at the start of the domestic season.

Torric has however allayed any fears of crossing carpet on the domestic top flight as he eyes an immediate return to Europe.

The nimble footed Ghanaian has been very inspirational for Ismaily even in the absence of the man who brought him to the North African side.

On the purported interest from Zamalek, the former Hearts of Oak’s attacker acknowledged the importance of getting recognised by a big club like Zamalek but preferred European football instead.

“I feel happy because I really worked hard for that. Zamalek is a big club but now my focus is to work harder and return to Europe”.

Ismaily could move top in Egypt if they are able to win their two outstanding matches after 12 rounds of the league matches.

Ghanaian duo of Torric Jibril and Emmanuel Banahene has been very instrumental to the course of the North African giants.
