We will not underate Comoros – Grant

[ad_1]

Ghana coach Avram Grant insists his team will not be taking Comoros lightly in their 2018 World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The Black Stars completed their domestic preparations for the first leg clash with a final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Ghana are overwhelming favourites to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers and are largely expected to steam role over the Comorians in both legs.
But Avram Grant is adamant his players will not be complacent by stressing the Black Stars do not fear any opponent before them.
“When I came here I said in the first meeting we are not afraid of any team and we will not underestimate any team,” he said.
“Every game starts 0-0 and we want to be at the good side of the surprise and not the bad part of the surprise.
“We will not underestimate any team and will not be afraid in the future of any team.”
The Black Stars are expected to arrive in Comoros on Thursday to train on their artificial pitch before the game on Friday.
Ghana will then host the same side in the return encounter four days later at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
