Elmina Sharks Interested In Signing Dong Bortey


Division one league side, Elmina Sharks have expressed interest in the services of former Accra Hearts of Oak dribbling magician, Bernard Dong Bortey.


 


 


Elmina Sharks owned by politician and entrepreneur, Dr, Paa Kwesi Nduom have been ambitious in their preparation towards the upcoming 2015/16 GN Bank DOL season as they are all but have sealed the signing of another former Hearts player, Kofi Abanga.

In an exclusive interview with footballcrusader.com, the PRO of the club, Rich Joseph said, “negotiations are in the early stage. We (Elmina Sharks) have spoken to Bortey’s manager about the availability of his client.”


“Our head coach has also personally spoken to the Dong Bortey, we are now waiting for responds then we can finalise a deal,” he added.


 


The versatile forward, Bernard ‘the serial killer’ Bortey currently plays for Swedish side, Ange IF Idrottsförening.
