Gawu qualified Dreams FC to the premiership- Communication Director.

Communications Director of Dreams FC, Henry Asante Twum has commended Eric Gawu for playing a starring role in the club’s qualifications to the Premiership.


The astute sports journalist attributed his side’s monstrous run to the top flight league solely to the individual contribution of their veteran attacker both on and off the pitch.


Dreams FC sealed their ticket to the 2016 season at the first time of asking in the second tier league.


Eric Gawu, who made his name whiles plying his trade in Kumasi with King Faisal, returned to the domestic scene after an unsuccessful stint in Europe.


The gargling centre forward has since led the lines superbly well for CK Akunnors dominant Dreams FC at the Kweiman park en route to their premiership status.


Asante Twum  aligned their progress to the leadership qualities of their experience forward who has inspired the playing staff in leaps and bounds.


He commended Gawu for the self disciplined nature and courteous approach to staff members.


Heny Asante told sports crusader, “Eric Gawu is still a very big player for us. He might not be as strong as he was in the years ago but he has been very useful to us. Eric Gawu is one of the reasons why we are in the Premier league today”.


On his contribution to the young players in the side, Henry heaped kind words on his veteran forward.


“He is a shining example to the young players. He is very disciplined, reports to training very early and uses himself as an example anytime he is with the players. He is our signing of the season as a club. We shall count on Gawu a lot whichever formation the coach chooses to play”.
