Ghana Youth international Godfred Donsah has donated food items worth 4,500 to the inmates of Compassion is Love Children’s Home in Sunyani, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The Italy based midfielder put smiles on the faces of the children on new year day with food items such as rice, maize, sugar, and other assorted items.
The presentation was done on behalf of the hard tackling midfielder, who is gearing up for the second half of the Serie A season.
The Bologna defensive screen donated the items as part of his philanthropic relationship with the needy in the society.
Some items donated in the package include bag of rice, maize, sugar, cartons of milk, beverages and babies diapers.
Madam Julliet of the Children’s home recieved the package on behalf of the children from Prince Agyemang Duah who presented the 4,500 cedis worth of items.
Godfred Donsah switched camp from Cagliari to Bologna at the start of the 2015/16 season in the Serie A. He has since managed 9 appearances with Bologna with a goal against Hellas Verona under his belt.
The utility midfielder has been tipped by many fans to emulate the feat of Micheal Essien in the National team.
The former Cagliari midfielder is set to return to the pitch on Saturday January 6 at the Guiseppe Meazza in Milan.
