New Edubiase defensive midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila is set for a return to domestic football after failing to land a foreign deal.
The Ghana Youth international failed to seal a much anticipated deals in Sweden and Tunisia and has been offered another platform on the domestic scene.
The utility midfielder starred prominently for Coach Anthony Commey’s side in a a highly competitive 2014/15 FCPPL.
The Black Meteors midfielder passed on the chance to move to any local rival in search of greener pasture after a swashbuckling performance for the “Yen Ko Nkoa Boys” in the past season.
The much sought-after Latif however failed to land expected contracts in either Sweden or Tunisia and has since returned home ahead of the 2016 domestic football season.
His arrival to the camp of Edubiase will come as good news to the followers of the Bekwai based side after the departure of the Nuhu twin brothers. Edubiase held of Heart of Lions in the final match day of the season to maintain their premier league status in a six goal thriller.
The “Yen Ko Nkoa Boys” already secured the services of Kassim Issah and Anass Abidina from Bekwai Youth and Joe Halms from Accra Great Olympics ahead of the new season.
