GHALCA Robbed Aduana Stars
Aduana Stars Public Relation Officer (PRO), Appiah Kubi, has accused the Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Alhaji Raji and the governing body as well for ‘declaring’ Kotoko winners long before
kicking a ball.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated the 2010 Ghana premier league champions. Aduana Stars thanks to a 50th minute strike from Halipha Sanogo. The highlight of the final has been the allegation levelled against Alhaji Raji who
according to Appiah Kubi wanted a hearts of oak and Kumasi Asanate Kotoko final but the former exited after losing its final game against Medeama SC.
The Public Relation Officer of the Dormaa-based club believes the unfortunate comment from the chairman of GHALCA only provides evidence that the league body wanted the Porcupine warriors to win the trophy.
“He Alhaji Raji said a village in the Brong Ahafo does not deserve to keep the GHALCA G6 trophy and he even came to apologise today at the pre-match conference,” Aduana PRO Appiah Kubi claimed.
“It is a disgrace for the chairman to make such serious comments and we believe his comments influenced the referee into cheating us in such a disgraceful manner,” he added.
